Normally I post what we have done as a family but, this month I think it will easier to post by person!
Monkey is a very cute little boy who shows us more of his personality each day! He is learning colors, more numbers, nursery rhymes, and how to treat books! He no longer feels the needs to throw all the books off the bookshelves and across the room! Our Fourth of July weekend was very busy, swimming and playing with cousins. Monkey was very tired at the end of the weekend.
5:00 pm on the 4th of July!
Ladybug is growing up too quickly. She had a great time swimming and playing with her cousins (ok, so I was really bad with the camera this month)! She went to a church activity and had a great time throwing water balloons and swinging on the swings. She goes to quiet time after lunch willingly each day and generally has a great time playing by herself. She is also getting much better at playing nicely with Monkey.
She was so proud because she used every single block!
Unicorn and I had a mother/daughter Spa Day this month (again...no camera). We had a great time! We had manicures, pedicures and facials! She spent most of the 4th of July weekend in Scottsdale with her Grandparents, Aunt, and cousins! They spent a lot of time swimming! The girls also put on fake nails and designed clothing with this cool thing her Aunt bought her (see pictures below). Unicorn also spent 2 weeks at her dad's house. You can read about that at Unicorn Tales.
Nice nails?!?!?
Cute outfit she designed.
Kurt has been taking a Calculus class out at the community college. He also went back to work on the 21st. He is still working at the alternative high school here in town.
I have been working at the community college and preparing the curriculum for this upcoming school year! You can read about our curriculum choices at Adventures in Educating.
Sneak Peak: We started school August 2nd!
August: Back to school, Field Trips, Jen visits, and Kurt's birthday! :)
