52 Weeks of Organizing ~ Weeks 23

This week I reorganized some of our school supplies. We have a lot of literature books that we use for resources. Because they were just sitting on a shelf the kids would get into them and mix them up making it difficult for me to find a book related to the topic we were studying, so I often didn't use the literature with them. I found these magazine holders at IKEA last week and decided to separate out any books that are subject specific to make it easier for me to locate a book and to make it easier for the children to put the books away. I ran out of magazine holders and have a few more on order so hopefully I can finish this project next week.

Also, I changed our school workboxes to workfolders and organized all our school supplies (flashcards, individual whiteboards, dry erase markers, time and money manipulatives, etc.) in the cart that used to be our workboxes.

We are going camping for part of next week so my next post will be about how we organize our camping supplies (both for the trip and after)!

Happy Organizing!
