52 Weeks of Organizing ~ Week 18

Can I just say that the first week of our school year (we homeschool) has gone wonderfully...what a difference a routine makes! That being said, I have to confess that I didn't get much organizing done around here. This has been a week of getting everyone comfortable with the routine and maintaining our home while getting each child learning with their new curriculums.

One thing that did get organized was my blogging calendar. I printed out calendars for May, June and July and wrote down each blogging commitment I have made (52 Weeks of Organizing, The Homeschool Mother's Journal and Workbox Wednesdays). Then I started filling in empty days with topics of posts that I want to do (Ladybug's 5th birthday ~ coming May 11th, New Curriculum, Year in Review for each child, a Typical Day, Learning from the Calendar, Our Portfolios, etc.).

I am trying (for now) to keep my posts to 3-4 per week. I enjoy blogging but I don't want it to take over my life. I need to make sure that my kids come first. I don't have any pictures for this week but you can click on the links to see what I'm talking about!

Happy Organizing!

  3. I clicked on the garden link and was overwhelmed with the participants. I am feeling much better these days on my new drug regimen and have gotten a lot done this week. I am glad your homeschooling went well this week!
