5 Question Friday

I stumbled upon a link-up that seems kind of fun...not to mention some questions that may lead to good stories for my kids to read to their kids someday!

1. Have you ever had surgery?
Yes. 
2/29/2000 - Emergency C-section
Summer of 2001 - Gall Bladder Removal
March of 2005 - Breast Reduction (yes...you read that right...REDUCTION)
5/11/2006 - Scheduled C-section
4/29/2008 - C-section (not emergency but 4 weeks prior to scheduled date)

2. Ever ride in an ambulance?

Yes.
2/29/2000 - Eclampsia...led to that Emergency C-section from question #1
August 2001 - Unicorn had a seizure while we were on vacation in Idaho...this time I rode in the front seat but it was scarier than the first time!

3. How are you in a medical emergency? Panicked? Calm?
Calm. At least until the emergency part is over...THEN I have a melt-down.

4. Do you have a garden? Flowers or veggies?
Yes, for the first time this year. Veggies! 

5. When did you move out of your parents house?
I went away to college and lived on my own then (Aug. 1994). After graduation I moved back home for a few months (hard to find a teaching job in January). Then out, pretty much for good, since August of 1997! After my divorce, I moved home for about 3 months...just long enough to find a job and an apartment.
