Today we planted our garden. Neither hubby nor I have a green thumb so this should be interesting! We let the kids choose some and hubby choose the herbs and the hot peppers. We are going to try to grow tomatoes, basil, oregano, green onions, sweet peppers, carrots, hot peppers, beans and pumpkins. Here are some photos of our garden and planting today as well as a "map" of what was planted.
Hopefully our garden will look something like this in a few months! :)
Good luck with the garden. I moved into the city and miss growing flowers, veggies and herbs. I hope this is a good season! Gradening is a great homeschooling activity! Meryl http://departingthetext.blogspot.com
