When fabric went on sale at JoAnn Fabrics during Black Friday I ordered some fabric to make quilts for my kids. Every time a picked a fabric it was sold out. Finally, I was able to purchase some fabric I liked and had it shipped. When they shipped it only 2 of the 3 fabrics I picked out came (the other was sold out) so I had to figure out what to do because the quilts were going to be the same front and back. At Christmas-time JoAnn's had another sale and Unicorn and I picked out some more fabric. This allowed us to make the girls' quilts the same on one side and a different co-ordinating color on the back. After Christmas I gave all the fabric to my mom (because I can't sew) and asked her to make quilts for the kids' birthdays. She got them all finished in time for Unicorn's birthday (which is tomorrow). Monkey and Ladybug have birthday's in April and May so rather than have them wait and keep throwing blankets on their beds I let them have their quilts too. Here are the very cute results:
Unicorn has a cute pattern flannel on the front and royal purple velvet on the back.
Ladybug has the same cute pattern flannel on the front and bright pink velvet on the back.
Monkey has frogs and lizards all over his quilt!
