Williams' Write-Up: May 2010 ~ Another Busy Month

Well, we have had another interesting month! We have had the flu, colds, sleepless nights, nightmares, temper tantrums galore, dinner with friends, job interviews and offers, a birthday, Mother's Day, Kurt's last day of teaching for this school year), trips to parks, fun at the pool, and a realization that I should probably update this blog more than once a month (I can't remember all the way back to May 1st)! So, here is what I do remember:

May 5th - Great-Grandma Merchant's Birthday and I had a job interview out at Central Arizona College and was offered the job on the spot! It is a part-time job recruiting and giving scholarships to individuals to enter the Early Childhood Education field.

May 9th - Mother's Day and other than the dinner at the Brinton's home it was a horrible day! The kid's were whining, fighting, screaming, arguing, etc. about anything and everything. At least we had good food and good company with the Brinton's (and the kids behaved, for the most part, at their house)!

May 10th - E, my niece's 4th birthday and my first day at my new job! :)

May 11th - Ladybug's 4th birthday (yes, these cousins are less than 24 hours apart in age)! We celebrated her birthday in April with Monkey and Grandma because Grandma and Grandpa were leaving on a mission. However, she got another package after the party so she opened more presents on her birthday (see photos below)!

May 21st - Kurt's last day of teaching until July! :)

May 26th - My mom & Ron's Anniversary - I heard they had a good day touring Yellowstone National Park!

Final comment before we get to the pictures: Out of the blue we were offered a house to rent...so...yes...we are moving again! More on that next month!
