February 2010 ~ A Busy Month

February was a busy month. Unicorn had numerous projects for school: a book report, a science fair project and a poem to memorize! She also had some friends over for a movie, popcorn & pizza birthday party! At her request the pizza, cake and ice cream were all homemade (by Kurt)! She and her friends had a great time watching the original version of "The Parent Trap" and playing games! I can't believe she is 10 already! While I managed not to get any pictures of this event (I know, bad mommy), I did get some pictures of her working on her science project!

Her problem was: Which flour, white, wheat or pastry, makes the strongest glue.

Ladybug was a busy girl this month. She destroyed her room, made lots of projects in preschool, made silly faces and played WiiFit with daddy.

Monkey continues to be a very cute boy! His talking consists of defensive statements (Let go of me!, Stop!, No!, and I don't want to go to bed!) and singing songs (Twinkle Little Star, ABC's, Itsy Bitsy Spider, etc.)!

Kurt and I have been very busy keeping up with our children. We did, however, manage to get away for Valentine's weekend. It was nice to get away and sleep through the night for a couple nights. We also watched the entire "Lord of the Rings" Trilogy the extended version. On our way home we had a layover/plane change in Kansas City and Kurt's sister Amy, her daughter Hailey, his sister Sally, her husband Bob, and their children C and M came to visit with us at the airport. It was really nice to visit with them and see how much the kids have grown.
